At Christchurch Infant School we aim to enable pupils to become creative and reflective artists who are able to express themselves fluently and confidently in a variety of different ways.

We value Art and Design as an important part of the children’s entitlement to a broad and balanced curriculum. Art and Design provides the children with the opportunities to develop and extend skills whilst also enabling them to express their individual interests, thoughts and ideas. Through our high-quality teaching and progressive curriculum, children will be engaged, inspired and challenged, equipping them with the knowledge and skills to experiment, invent and create their own art work.
